If you look in the media these days Islam is portrayed as a religion of violence. Islam started out as a religion which was meant to unify people and even after more than a thousand years we are still struggling to unify Muslim people within Islam. How can we be a religion of peace if can't even unify our own people.
This year we could not even figure out what day to pray Eid-al-Adha because every Imam was doing their own thing which goes to show how "organized" our religion is.
How do you guys like the idea of unified Islam? ..where we can at least pray Eid on the same day.
